I’m not the healthiest person in the world. Being 75 lbs overweight wont give one the greatest physique in the world. I don’t have a job, nor am I a full time college student at the moment. Following the death of my grandmother, I lost the ability to focus in my Fall quarter, eventually putting…
First off I’d like to say that from what I remember, your sense of humor is awesome. So people who don’t like it need to learn to take life less seriously. Next I’d like to state that I agree with 90% of what you say. I’ve got this friend who is adorable as all heck but so incredibly shallow. Guys will like her and there’s always something wrong. Granted it’s not always looks, but most of the time it is. It drives me insane because guys that are incredible will go for her and she lets the fact that they aren’t hotties get in the way of her being with someone great. DUMB!
Here’s my rant though. When we as girls are small and you boys pick on us, we’re told it’s because you like us (which is true at 5 years old generally). As we get older though, we keep that mentality. Somehow I think it gets programmed into us that if a guy acts like a jerk, it’s because he likes us (rather than because he’s actually a jerk). I think that’s why we always think we can change them emotionally. Don’t get my wrong, this doesn’t excuse it. Just kind of a theory I have that makes it a little more understandable (at least to me).
But I know for one, looks mean nothing to me. I generally get physically attracted to someone based on their personally, rather than the other way around. I guess my point in telling you that is if there’s one, there are bound to be others. Just keep swimming, you’ll find someone. XD
