So we talked and it was amazing. I told him everything I felt like I needed to. That’s a big thing for me - I have so much trouble facing possible rejection. Telling someone you love them not knowing if they still return is as hard as it gets for me. I don’t use that word lightly (in the romantic sense, friendship love is different). We came to an amazing conclusion. We’re going to both focus on God, and work on our friendship.
He was always my best friend. I want that back, even if that’s all I get back to. So that’s our plan. Work on communication and keep each other accountable to focusing on God.
If more comes, great. If not…it’s not God’s will and that’s all that ever really mattered.
